You may not know (or care) how email works. But when it comes to sending large files, such as photos, videos, marketing materials, contracts, etc., you need to know a little bit about how those files are delivered.
In general, every email address to which you send can have it's own restrictions on email size. You may be able to send a 5MB email to one person, but that same email may be rejected by someone else. Not knowing the size limit, and the fact that everyone can have their own limit, is the problem.
With the Whaledrop Asset Courier, you can send any size file to any email recipient. You configure your email program once, to tell it to send mail using the Asset Courier, and Whaledrop will make sure large emails get delivered to all recipients. If you send a small email (based on your profile setting), Whaledrop will pass it through to the recipient without special handling. If you send a large email, Whaledrop will store the large content in your personal Whaledrop file store, and allow the recipient to easily retrieve it by clicking a link in your email.
