Request Large Files and Private Information from Recipients

The Whaledrop Asset Courier can be used to request private information or large files through your standard email client. The request is sent by attaching a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) notice to your email. For example, if you want someone to send you a large document, like a signed contract, you can send them an email describing what you would like them to do, and mark it as a SASE message. Whaledrop will add a link to the email, and when the recipient clicks on the link she can send you a secure message and upload files up to 1GB to send to you. When the response is received, Whaledrop sends you a notice that allows you to view and download the reply.

The SASE feature can be used to safely close financial transactions entirely through email. A tax consultant can use it to receive a QuickBooks file from clients. An escrow agent can use it to receive legal documents required to complete a real estate transaction. SASE can be used for any communication where you would like someone to send you something they cannot send by email.
